Outback, Up Close

You’re invited to our free event!

Our Outback is one of the last large areas of nature left in the world. It’s home to fascinating native plants and wildlife. But the health and future of Outback Queensland is at risk.

Our Outback landscapes depends on people working to carefully manage threats and sustain nature. Unfortunately, fewer people are living on the land than at any time in the last 50,000 years - leaving native wildlife and landscapes at risk.

People and nature in Outback Queensland need your support! So we’re bringing the stories of the Outback to the city.

Join us on Thursday 13th September for our Free Event Outback, Up Close and hear first-hand stories of people working to conserve nature in Outback Queensland and to celebrate the launch of the Our Living Outback campaign.
